Light weight insulation castables are mixed with lightweight aggregates, high quality refractory raw materials, and addictive.  They have the characteristics of low thermal conductivity, excellent heat insulation performance, energy saving and convenient construction. The bulk density is generally 1.2-1.8g/cm3. Light weight insulation castables can be divided into three categories according to the service temperature:

① Low-temperature light weight insulation castables, the service temperature is 500-800℃;

② Medium-temperature light weight insulation castables, the service temperature is 800-1000℃;

③ High-temperature light weight insulation castables, the service temperature is 1000-1200℃.

Product application:

Generally used for insulation lining (insulation layer) of industrial kilns and high tempreture equipments in metallurgy, machinery, electric power, chemical industry, petroleum indutry to keep heat and reduce energy consumption.
